Vice President of Construction
Jamie Laird
With well over 20 years of professional experience, Jamie provides an unmatched level of expertise to The Bridgeport Companies in his role as Vice President of Construction. His introduction to the construction industry came at a young age, as he worked alongside his father, a general contractor. Since graduating from The Citadel in 1997, he has maintained relationships with national restaurant chains such as Brinker and Darden International. In addition to many commercial projects, Jamie has also been involved in ground up and industrial construction. Jamie is a current member of The Hibernian Society of Charleston and in his free time, enjoys boating with his family.
Vice President of Business Development
Austin Stone
As the Vice President of Business Development, Austin seeks to cultivate relationships with prospective and existing Bridgeport clients and focuses on connecting them with their desired goals. His past experiences gives him unique insight into the entire construction process, from the acquisition of an asset to its construction and sale. Over the past ten years, he has been involved in significant restaurant and bar build-outs, large multi-family redevelopment projects, and a wide variety of commercial up-fits. With each project, a legitimate and highly capable construction partner proved critical, and Austin strives to deliver those key components to each client relationship. Austin currently serves as Chairman of YESCarolina and resides in Mt. Pleasant with his wife and two young sons.
